What Can I Do???????

I’m so glad you asked!   Here is a list of things you can do to help.

Time:  Donate 1-10 hours a week to the Earth2Spirit Center project. 

1. Help organize volunteers
2. Enter data in the computer, copy papers and other office work
3. Contact businesses about making donations and/or becoming involved
4. Organize groups which we can speak with about the project
5. Research zoning & legal concerns
6. Organize fund raising events
7. Set up meetings with colleges and high schools
8. Help organize events for each team project
9. Serve as director of a team project
10. Design and draft newsletter
11. Help prepare newsletter for mailing
12. Set up for meetings, clean up for meetings
13. Attending events and add your energy
14. Provide food for events
15. Donate your skill as part of a fund raiser or as service to the center
16. and a lot of other small things which make a large difference…….

Money:  No one wants to hear about the money required to turn a vision into a physical reality.  However, we live in a world which uses money as an exchange of energy.  This project requires a large amount of that energy. 

1.      Donate to the Wall of Faith.  This is a $10.00 donation. We will be putting the name and the dreams of all those who make a donation to this fund in the entrance of the Earth2Spirit Center.  This money is used for our general operations fund. Imagine all those dreams shining in the entranceway! 

2.      Make a business donation.  We will be listing every supporting business that makes a donation of $100.00 or more on our supporting business page.  This is a win-win for everyone.  Your business will be listed on our website for 1 year and we will begin generating the funds for the center. This fund is used for both building and operations.   

3.      Become a founding Member.  Make a donation of $500.00 now and $100.00 a month for the next year or make a one time donation of $1,700.00.  If 900 people or businesses become founding members we will be able to raise $1,530,000.00 within a year.  This is enough to purchase the land outright and build the first building.    One hundred percent of these funds go toward our building fund.  If you become a founding member and find just one other person to do the same it will take no time at all to reach this goal.  1+1+1… = Success.     

4.      Make a donation of any size.  All donations help us get closer to our goal.  Monthly donations provide money we can count on for fund-raising, building and operations. 

5.      Work with the Earth2Spirit team on grant programs.  Our goal is to connect with other non-profits, college and high school programs, and welfare to work programs.  We need people with the skills to develop grant applications and to work with these organizations to develop programs that serve the needs of everyone. 

6.      Donate items, skills and meeting space.  As part of our fund raising efforts we will have auctions, raffles and other events.  Your donations of skills and items help us raise money.  Rental space fees add up quickly; a donation of space for events is a wonderful gift. 

7.      Attend Earth2Spirit Events: 3006 Watson Blvd, Endwell unless otherwise stated.

We will also be setting up a bi-monthly organizational meeting. One in the day, and one in the evening.  The first one will be June 11, 2008, 10:00AM – 11:00 AM and/or 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM.   These will be to discuss where we are at and what needs to happen next.  This is the perfect place to bring all those people you think I really need to meet or talk with about Earth2Spirit.  I have been given the names of hundreds of people to speak with.  I can not go out and meet with them all.  What would be very, very helpful is to bring them to one of the meetings or to contact them and ask them if they are willing to meet with me then set up an appointment between us, or have them call me.  If you do have names of people you think I should speak with I need,

1.      Name,

2.      Contact information,

3.      Why you think I should speak with them (holistic, environment, school etc)

4.      I need to know if you know them.

5.      If possible I need you to contact them and let them know I will be in touch and find out the best time for me to contact them.    

There are thousands of ways you can be of service on this project.  It is a large undertaking and an amazing project.  The end result is the development of a stronger more positive community.  We truly can be the change we wish to see in the world when we move away from fear and into faith. We are one Spirit united in creation.
